Global Advertising Agency Wieden+Kennedy recently flipped the switch on an internet radio station that bleeds hand picked music plus light art & ad jive. ‘Morning Dose’ is the main broadcast blazing 3 days a week (MWF from 9am-12pm PST). w+kRadio also plans 2 inject your ear hole w/ a DJ mash up plus special programming on the weekends. Overall it seems like a smart opportunity 2 share music, art, & culture within the w+k global family plus spread a litle extra love in the process. Listening to the station for the past hour plus I find the music selection reminds me of a good micro-brew…a unique flavor brewed w/ craftsmanship. I’ve always loved the idea of pirate radio stations, thx 2 the internet we can have them in many shapes, colors, & forms. Big props 2 w+k for giving their employees another outlet 2 express themselves, as most agencies go they seem 2 listen 2 their peeps. So Pump Up the Volume & check out the harmony.
